Happy Valentine’s Day! To commemorate the occasion, I thought I’d do a close analysis of one of my favourite Valentine’s anime episodes in my all-time favourite anime —Hyouka. Unlike any other show I’ve watched, Hyouka continues to impress me, and I come away each rewatch with something new to think about. The Valentine’s episode is Being challenged by Satoshi, Mayaka made special Valentine chocolate for him. Unfortunately, it was stolen, and it's now up to Houtarou to investigate this case, return the chocolate and find the culprit. The events on last year's Valentine's Day at Kaburaya Middle School will go down in history. The valentines day, here, ITs actually really obvious what happened, but it is very complex at the same time. Ibara got out with CHitanda to buy a valentines chocolate for satoshi, which she did and she did leave the chocolate in the classis clubs desk. THe next day, it was gone.
