When Valentines comes around you're gonna get a strong dose of shame, but nothing much else gameplay wise. Still though, Kawakami's like the hardest girl to end up dating accidentally. You get like three outs after you choose the initial romance dialogue and it's fairly clear that you're in a romance by the end of it.
