It's time to let your crazy side out, with a full deck with cards from the sets Unglued, Unhinged and Four full-release Un-sets have been released so far: They are Unglued (1998), Unhinged (2004), Unstable (2017), and Unfinity in 2022. Unsanctioned is an additional supplementary silver-border set that includes mostly reprints from other Un-sets and a cycle of new legendary creatures and basic lands. List of MTG Un-Sets Unglued I would start by recommending you also check out the other Un-sets: Unglued, Unstable, Unsanctioned, and Unfinity. Unhinged's two main mechanics, gotcha and fractions, are both pretty miserable to actually play with. The newer sets are better designed and have more options you can run as your commander. The early sets unglued and unhinged were meant to be a fun 2nd or 3rd pack to a normal draft Silver-border can be pretty complex so it gives a fallback to make things easier to understand Some of the un-cards have black border vs silver border and set symbols (but with the 5 unsets that's less of an issue now) as mechanics so it turns those on I'm torn between Unhinged vs Unstable arts. As original Unhinged lands are super expensive, I was planning on maybe getting their reprint from Double Masters. So I'll summarize what I found nice in each set and I'd like your feedback on what choice you'd make: - Unhinged: has my favorite island of all time (I'm mainly a control player). Unstable is a booster-based card set for Magic: The Gathering that can not be used in legal Magic tournaments. Traditionally, these Un-Sets are filled with wacky, crazy cards like Cheatyface that are purposely designed to push the limits of MTG’s design space, and are not legal for constructed play. Vaguely what you wanted: avoid any and all Unhinged cards with Gotcha. Gotcha gets my vote as the single least fun mechanic in Magic's history, as it motivates this friendly game to be played in absolute silence. If 1 million unstable land exist, and 1.5 million unhinged exist, but 1 million unhinged have been put into cubes/decks and only 500 million exist for trade, then there are more unhinged lands yet this easily accounts for the price discrepancy.
