Students will find and label common figurative language in five Valentine's Day-inspired stories. Each of the Valentine's Day figurative language stories includes examples of personification, metaphor, simile, onomatopoeia, oxymoron, and alliteration! There are lots of high-interest ways to combine curriculum with creative Valentine’s Day activities to engage your middle school ELA students without sacrificing content.
