Here is a short homeschool Valentine’s day unit study with supporting resources to help you motivate and interest the kids this February! Simply pick a few of these valentine’s day resources and schedule them into your lesson plan over the next few weeks. We invite you to try it out! Valentine’s Day History: Social Studies Make Valentine’s Day meaningful with this interactive, week-long Social Studies unit focused on friendship and kindness!. Through writing, drawing, poetry, and engaging discussions, students will explore how to be a good friend while building literacy and communication skills. Have students write or use visuals to describe how the Valentine’s Day kindness activities made them feel. Ask them to write or draw about what they learned about kindness through the activities. 2) Discussions.
